Day 1: Arches National Park
Preferred Lodging: Red Cliffs Lodge: Moab, UT
We will depart from Salt Lake City at 9 AM for our first immersion into the American Southwest. We will have a special breakfast available on the Adventure Coach to fuel you for an active day of sightseeing as we enter the outstanding Arches National Park. Here you will have the opportunity to hike the short trails to reach the dazzling arches of the region such as Balanced Rock, The Windows, Double Arch, Delicate Arch, and Landscape Arch. These stunning and unique rock formations are something you’re not going to want to miss!
Disclaimer: Each trail will take between 15-30 minutes to walk and are non-strenuous. These are primarily self-guided dirt and paved pathways, but you may participate as much or as little as they wish to, depending on your preferred activity level.
If hiking doesn’t interest you, no need to worry! Stay and relax on the Adventure Coach or sit and enjoy the fresh air and scenery of the desert. Other stops include the Courthouse Wash Wall Panel, Park Avenue, and viewpoints of Three Gossips, Sheep Rock, and Courthouse Towers. After a long day spent in the park, we will reach Red Cliffs Lodge, set along the Colorado River amongst the most spectacular red rock scenery.
Day 2: Canyonlands National Park and Moab Adventures
Preferred Lodging: Redcliffs Lodge: Moab, UT
Our day will begin with a trip to Canyonlands National Park to catch the inspiring sunrise at Grand View Point. From here, we’ll explore the Island in the Sky District from the comfort of the Adventure Coach, stopping at key points such as Whale Rock and the Canyonlands Visitor Center. In the afternoon, we will visit Moab to visit the local shops and restaurants. An optional excursion includes an exciting Hummer Safari to Hell’s Revenge just before sunset. While weaving in and out of red rock canyons, your guide will explain the geology and history of the Canyonlands region. You’ll savor tasty hors d’oeuvres at the summit as the sun paints the evening sky –returning beneath a blanket of innumerable stars. Alternatively, enjoy a unique, open-air Dutch oven dinner before embarking on a jet boat cruise for an evening light show on the canyon walls of the Colorado River. Our evening will conclude back at our Red Cliff Lodge accommodations in Castle Valley.
Day 3: Bryce Canyon National Park

This morning we will make the long scenic drive to Bryce Canyon National Park – a wondrous land of pines, pinnacles and oddly sculpted formations known as hoodoos. Magnificent spires tinted with shades of pink, orange and red, put on a captivating show as the light changes throughout the day. For those who wish to experience these rock formations up close, take a stroll through Wall Street – the only slot canyon in the park. Continue down the Navajo Trail where you’ll find Two Bridges and Thor’s Hammer towering above you. Keep an eye open for the park’s abundant wildlife, including elk, coyotes, marmots, and prairie dogs, as we capture an awe-inspiring sunset at Bryce Point, just steps away from your sought-after accommodations at The Lodge at Bryce Canyon.
Day 4: Bryce Canyon Sunrise and Zion National Park

For you early-risers, we encourage you to get out and enjoy the sunrise over the Bryce Canyon Amphitheater. If the weather cooperates, an optional adventure is a cowboy-escorted trail ride on either a horse or mule to explore the hidden gems of Bryce Canyon. We’ll spend the afternoon on the Adventure Coach while we travel through the arid red rock desert into the green oasis of Zion National Park. Upon our arrival to Zion Lodge, a refreshing nature walk to the Emerald Pools awaits you – just a short walk across the street. Enjoy the evening from the comfort of your private cabin, with views of the towering palisades in every direction.
Day 5: Exploration of Zion National Park, Lake Powell and Antelope Canyon
